This is why Microsoft Windows will continue to dominate America.
People want to access their Windows files, right now!
Ever tried Elive?
Access to Windows partitions is so trivial.
Nowadays, its about out of the box functionality, not operating system castration.
That's why many bite size operating systems will never gain traction.
Everyone appreciates the speed of a small operating system, however, most will conclude
an operating system bereft of functionality, unacceptable.

Currently, in terms of out-of-box experience, there are too many snags, detours, and roadblocks in Gbsd.

Hi JimsWorkshop,
as of GhostBSD 10.1 (I don't know about older versions right now), ntfs-3g should be part of the default installation. You can have a look at the
manifest to see which packages are installed by default. There you will find
fusefs-ntfs-2015.3.14_2 which is the package that contains ntfs-3g.
GhostBSD 10.3 comes with
fusefs-ntfs-2016.2.22_1 and I would not expect it do be dropped for the comming 11.x releases.
