StartX installer issue

I've problems trying to install Ghost to an AMD processor [Discrete] PC with a graphics card in the appropriate dedicated slot [Bus 6.0.0].
I've gone back through a selection of historic ISO's to find the last installable ISO build (November 2020 FreeBSD12.2 GhostOpenRC).
Ghost FreeBSD12 from January 2021 and then Ghost FreeBSD13 onwards all fail to install.
The installer fails to present this dialogue like it used to:

And thus can't cope with the display and graphics card.
Giving the monitor's response...

invalid format

I've been trying to figure out these X11 issues for weeks but it's a little beyond me.
So, please, can anyone tell me how may I go about getting the installer to chose DRM Radeon KMS like it used to?
