Isn't it going to be hard to keep the dates of the release updated?

If you use Update Station to upgrade version number will increment automatically.

What are your concerns?

No worry, the GhostBSD version is different than the other BSD projects.

It is version yy.mm.dd, and it changed on every package build, and only the GUI Update Manager updated the version.
