@kstailey Thanks for sharing your experience.
I tried on a 2013 Mac Pro and no-go -- (sad trombone). I don't blame GhostBSD or even FreeBSD, it's just a hard machine to reliably run non-macOS on -- even Linux and Windows 10 ran poorly on it.
Thanks again!

Re: Good project.
I try for the holiday ghostbsd on my Dell 7320 detachable. Everything works fine except for the sound Good to hear your story. I am a Linux user but I am tired of the garbage that is making its way in. Before long, Linux will be almost indistinguishable to Windows. Anyway, I keep trying GhostBSD be...

Shouldn't installer warn before any destructive action?
Greetings! :D I'm installing GhostBSD into another virtual machine right now and I've noticed that there is no (obvious) warning that you're about to wipe out whatever is on the target disk. I know most BSD users would already know this, but newcomers might not. Do you think the installer should war...

Re: GhostBSD fails to boot after update
That is odd. Update Station only upgrades packages. It does not deal with the bios or disk partitions. Do you know if your drive is still healthy? Thanks for your reply Eric. :) Yes, the drive is fine and works fine with Linux, Windows and so-on. I'm beginning to think that it has something to do w...

GhostBSD fails to boot after update
Greetings, While I'm not really seeking help for this, I just wanted to add my experience. I installed GhostBSD official 23.10.1 MATE version from USB thumb drive to SSD on an HP Z440 Xeon workstation. The install went fine and when I rebooted, it booted fine without issues. I then used the Update S...
