System won't boot after successful installation
I'm trying to install GhostBSD on a Lenovo ThinkPad T420. The Live image boots fine from a DVD. (Everything seems to work fine, including Wi-Fi.) The installer runs and I get the "Installation is complete" dialog box. I select "Restart." When the laptop reboots, it will only boot...

Re: Live User doesn´t login
EDIT: I've translated the posts. Please read it, and tell me your opinions  Thanks for this! I kept getting stuck at the same place -- the Live session wouldn't log in. I could change the user and log in as root, but that didn't give me the installation option. I had been using Rufus and had ...

Re: Installation ends with EXITERROR coping files
After a number of tries and also trying the i386 version, I dropped back to version 2.5. It installed the first time. Trying to then install 3.1 over it resulted in the Cannot mount volume. The computer is currently running Windows 7 Professional and I am trying to install GhostBSD alongside it. I have a 34 GB primary partition, formatted NTFS, ...

Re: fatal server error - no screens found
Thanks. I'll look into that.
I had to turn my attention to another computer -- a netbook with a trashed Windows installation -- so I've installed GhostBSD 2.5 LXDE on it for now.

Re: fatal server error - no screens found
I'm having the same problem. I've tried both the CD and USB versions, on two different Lenovo ThinkPads, a T40 and T60. (The T60 is currently running PC-BSD 9.0.) Although I would prefer LXDE, I am currently downloading the Gnome CD iso and will try it. In the meantime< I am not sure what I am looki...
