unbelievable, THAT was the one. was completely confused about all the nids and sequences, but that one worked!

Should have been obvious with 16 "speakers" and 17 "headphones", why was I fixed on nid18 anyway?

nope, no sound again, back to nid 17 on 2 and nid 18 on1 at least for solely headphones!
maybe one day GhostBSD 11 will know how to switch that plug....

Hi Neville Set both nid 17 & 18 to 1 gets me no sound at all. The above setting gets me just headphones and trying nid16 & 17 both set to 1 only gets me speaker sound. Couldn t find a way to switch automatically between speaker and plugged in headphones. 😕 Will try again next weekend. Best A...

I tried with several sttings found in that screenshots but to no success!

Maybe someone has some settings to set in certain files for GhostBSD - I m lost actually.

I ll try on the weekend for that output ( too much stuff in between) and yes: I DO like football if it s played fair and plp do not act smug and mocking like my german country fellows did again.
That s why I hope for England, Uruguay or Sweden to succeed.

Hi Neville well, first of all I noticed as well, there are no headphones in dmesg.boot, some drivers are missing and the parametres You mentioned are different to non-existent in my configuration. I was wondering myself about completely missing drivers as on my Acer laptop the headphone subject does...
